Apparently it's written almost entirely by women to debunk some of what's said concerning women in FARC. I haven't viewed the site yet, but it comes off as slightly to defensive.

I checked it out, but I can't read Spanish. Why would you think it's too defensive?
I've seen that they have been portrayed in western media as being subservient maids & comfort women to the FARC men and even as prostitutes to outsiders.

I've seen that they have been portrayed in western media as being subservient maids & comfort women to the FARC men and even as prostitutes to outsiders.

There's stories about young girls being abducted simply to be child-soldiers and cocaine paste manufacturers. There are also the stories about women, and even worse, young girls, being raped by the guerrillas they are supposed to represent.

It seems defensive to me because the website was created shortly after the Colombian government initiated some kind of program that reintroduces FARC women rebels into contemporary, urban Colombian bourgeois society.
