Hey, is there currently an International or Internationals of the various "Official" Communist Parties (e.g. Communist Party of Canada, CPUSA, Communist Refoudation Party)?

not to my knowledge, a couple of days ago a user posted the news that several of the european communists partys, like kke, communist party of portugal and many others joined up. dont know if that constitutes as an "international" like institution since its very european centric. if i find the post i'll edit this here. other no there isnt something like that.

edit: found it http://www.revleft.com/vb/initiative-communist-and-t183687/index.html?t=183687

also this might be of a little help(not much though) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comintern#Successor_organisations

Not technically. The closest thing is the "International Meeting of Communist and Workers' Parties". The 3 parties you mentioned have taken part in the annual meetings since the thing started in 2007.

Outside of that, the only left-wing internationals in existence are the like 4 Trotskyist internationals(IMT, CWI, IST, USFI, I think that's it), the 4 left-com internationals(ICT, ICC, ICP), and the various Maoist, Anarchist and Hoxhaist/Anti-Revisionist internationals(and of course the Impossibilist international). They are all quite obviously irrelevant and obscure so nobody cares. The Social Democrat international, the Socialist International, has a lot of member-parties in government(Austria, Belgium, Italy, Ireland, France, Mexico, and many others) so you could argue it's an important organization, but they meet every 4-5 years and don't really decide anything there as far as I know.

Thanks v. helpful.

Also, has there been an international organization to replace the old Revolutionary Internationalist Movement?

i remeber that hugo chavez tried to create something like a 5th international, i doubt there ever came something out of that, though. besides that i doubt it, most people who were interested in communism and stuff like that joined allready existing organisation who had all their own internationals or international groups like the one urging mentioned.
