. . . exactly what it seems to be.

Somehow, after years of kicking around the anarchist/DIY punk scene RVIVR somehow missed the memo that generally yelling at kids who try to talk to you about colonialism and patriarchy is bad form. When confronted with these issues, crying because "I'm a white man, and it hurt my feelings" to gain sympathy before going on the attack with, "What do you want? Should I go back to Europe?" generally means, that in fact, you probably should.

Point being, last night RVIVR were supposed to play in my basement. They didn't. It was ridiculous.

Fucking posers.

Never made it into the punk scene myself, so I don't quite know how to react to this

I like alot of the music, but I must say that I've always detested punk rock culture. Punks, for being so non-conformist, can be some of the most narrow-minded human beings on the planet. They have a way of stifling innovation in the actual music.

That's why I find P.I.L. to be FAR better music than the Sex Pistols.

Let's be honest, RVIVR are not particularly good.

You do understand punk/HC culture has moved on from the 70s, yes?
