View Full Version : Hey guys! Fresh meat here.
Spook.

I suppose I should introduce myself.
Hi all :). You can call me Spook, Spooky, or anything else creative that you deem fitting. I consider myself a pretty chill person (until someone says communism is a dictatorship. I'm sure you guys can relate  ) I'm into music, mostly indie, alt, and all the flavors that come within those genres (post-rock, indietronica, etc) Here in the American south, not many people care to talk about leftist ideas. Much less communism! I've become very fed up with my country, and the majority of the world's nations. I wish to be active in the solution, not becoming an apathetic sheep being led to the slaughter by our uncaring "leaders". I also want to be a part of a community with like minded individuals, where I can give and receive ideas and criticism. I feel like if there is any place for me to come, this is it. I want to be a productive member in this community, and I hope you all accept me as such.
(Jeez I think I wrote too much  )
P.S: I consider myself a Libertarian Communist/Anarcho-Communist.

I'm surprised you haven't been banned then SS ^
But welcome Spook. I too, am an anarcho-communist. I hope you stick around the forums and have a good time. There certainly are some...entertaining occurrences here whenever a right-left wacky mishmash of a person shows up and causes trouble.

I don't know what your talking about. This forum is riddled with ultra-stalinism.
Only the biggest reactionaries get banned. Like, I have a feeling if someone's bourgeoisie nature was discovered, they would be banned.

You do realize Stalinism is pejorative, right?
Welcome :)
If you have political questions, you can ask them in the Learning forum. That's why it's there after all!

Nope stalinism is good and is the right path to follow, Lets not make a debate on this thread tho.

Excuse me for making a bit of a wording error haha. What I meant by that was people who think that communism is fascism.

Hey SS. I don't wish to debate over Stalinism with you, but don't you think that that's a bit dismissive and close-minded? I feel like the way you worded that statement kinda was implying that Stalinism is the only way to go.
(Not trying to be a jerk, could've just been the way I read it)

I was writing that post to Remus bleys, and i didn't want to start a debate on a thread that has nothing to do with it,
Thats what i believe and what i think a country should be ruled on stalinist principles, everyone have their own beliefs and have their own opinion whats their right path.

Stalinism was created by Trotskyists (who used to refer to themselves as bolshevik-leninists, trotskyism was once pejorative). Most "stalinists" refer to themselves as marxist-leninist.
Stalinism is pejorative. That's not a cricism of marxist-leninism.

I know I'm aware of that, I don't know about him/her though.
I know that I have a friend in Serbia who goes by the nickname Spook due to the fact that her full name abbreviated is very similar to it.

When I read the username spook, I instantly thought maybe we have got a Max Stirner fan on our hands here, but I'm not entirely sure. I do know that it is also used as a a racial epithet, but Stirner used the term to refer to society as a whole, which he rejected as an actual entity.
Spook.

Sigh...yes I do know that.
Funny thing is I had the nickname way before I even knew it was a term either of those. It's kind of a long story as to how I got the name, but nonetheless, I assure you all that its not in reference to CIA ops, blacks, or a nod in the direction of Max Stirner's ideology.
