It is the Cold War, let's say a hardy group of men, women, and cisgendered individuals have overthrown a regional government in some country and have declared themselves a Communist state, the question is how and would the Soviet Union aid them?
How did Soviet aid work duing the Cold War, for example would this group of women, men , and cisgendered individuals have to send some people to travel to the USSR personally, and maybe ask or beg (if so please let me know how) for help like for food, weapons, and so forth?
Or could they just send letters or something like that?
Granted they may received "Monkey Model" weapons but how would they pay the USSR?
Would the Soviet Union accept say, a loan to this group of women, men, and cisgendered individuals of say, a given amount of corn or sugar or whatever they can produce every few years or so?
How would these loans that the USSR extended to other countries or groups work during the Cold War?
Who are the leaders of the USSR or elsewhere who would be willing to sell food, clothings, weapons, etc. to this group of cisgendered, men, and women individuals?
I know that Nikita Khrushchev may, after all he did extend a hand of friendship to Yugoslavia and Cuba even though Stalin didn't, but what about other leaders like Leonid Brezhnez (the guy famous for his love for kissing) for example?
And to add a little more, let's say this group of women and men who wanted to build a Communist country are openly tolerant of homosexuals, transsexuals, etc. who would most likely want to aid them?
And how would such aid be received and paid for if so?
