3. What were Ethiopia's relations with other "socialist" states?
4. Did he write anything?
5. Are the stories about the "wasted bullet bill" etc. true?
6. What good things did he do for the people?

1. Well, basically he didn't care for minorities, so they were left to their own devices (as far as I know)

2. Well he did have his own portrait hung besides that of Lenin, Engels, and Marx, though I didn't know about the Stalin statue part till now.

3. They gave him aid, mostly Cuba and the USSR during the Ethio-Somali War and the Cubans helped drive out the Somali invasion.

4. He wrote his memoirs, a manuscript of the memoir, entitled Tiglatchn, was supposedly leaked onto the internet.

5. If you are talking about the tax that families have to pay to get bodies of their loved one from the Kebeles, a sort of local militia or paramilitary group in case you don't know, then it is true more or less as far as I know.

6. Well he nationalized the land, stripped the church and rulling families of their propertly redistrubeted the wealth to the people, and so on, very much like Cuban during their revolution.
