What will be the effects of the Euro on the workers of europe and the world?

One good thing i see, is that companies will be competing harder, so material goods will be much cheaper for them to buy
There will be a psychological bondage between euro nations that shows that they are all in the same bout (the world) together, unlike the USA which believes that world=USA

A bad point manybe that companies will cut worker wages to compete against other companies

What are your views?

I think that the Euro may be good for the consumer because they will not be exploited in different countries, they will now the value of the product no matter where they are. Also, at the moment industries are reluctant to move to Britain because of the strength of the £ even though we offer some of the best facilities and workers in the world. They would rather go somewhere else where they can sell a poor quality product but make a bigger profit. With the € there will be no difference in value of the currency for each country so many workers may prosper. But others could be left without work if they move somewhere else.

It's a difficult decision to make and I think that some of the countries joining may have jumped in a bit too quickly and without really weighing it up properly just to maintain there dominance in Europe. For example France and possibly Germany.
