Hi all,
I came here to have some intellectual discussion about Marxism and how it is relevant to the world today. I am particularly interested in the more philosophical side of Marx, since I have to say, this world today makes me feel very alienated!
I can't say I am a Marxist or even a 'Leftist', but in some ways I think I might be some sort of heretical ultra-Marxist - the archetypical student escaping the bounds of his mentor, the stereotypical fiery Scot - the John Knox to the John Calvin, perhaps.
Whatever the case, I have a post waiting to be approved in the Other Ideologies section; and, in the hope it is OK for me to post here as a non-Left-Winger, thought I would offer some sort of introduction.
