TV ideology is a powerful thing. Was trying to figure where some imagery for some of my art came from -- it happens over & over -- and realized it was from the Young and the Restless.

Smurfs were Stalinists. Authoritarian state apparatus with a cult of personality around Papa Smurf and since they practiced socialism in one Smurfy village and did not expand it to the human world.
