TV ideology is a powerful thing. Was trying to figure where some imagery for some of my art came from -- it happens over & over -- and realized it was from the Young and the Restless.

Smurfs were Stalinists. Authoritarian state apparatus with a cult of personality around Papa Smurf and since they practiced socialism in one Smurfy village and did not expand it to the human world.

and if Papa Smurf represented Marx, then Brainy Smurf represented Trotsky or your typical Trotskyist :laugh:
