Hey everyone. I'm on my way to Cuba for a few weeks in a week cant wait to see where che lived and worked for a large part of his life. I was wondering however if anyone can tell me where Che's remains are now so as that i may go pay my respects. and also just out of curiosity does anyone know Che's favorite brand of cigar? so that i may share something in common with my hero.

I'm thinking of going to Cuba, but maybe in a few years. Hopefully Cuba will not have been chained down by America before then.

if your trip is motivated at all by politics, (i.e. you are a revolutionary) then please dont be a tourist. go visit the people, act as though you are cuban, dont go stay in one of those resorts.

P.S. im not sure if that makes sense at all. im uber-tired and legibility comes with being more than half awake.

I went to Cuba and have visited Che's remains, as well as the other revolutionary heroes that died fighting for Cubas independance. It is correct they are in Santa Clara, and well worth a visit, the statue on top of che is absoultlet fantastic! I have a photo of me next to the statue i'll try and post it. Revoltion Square is a must visit also, situated in Havana.
How long are u there for, i went for 8 days and it was the best time of my entire life.

You're very lucky to be going to Cuba now. Castro's health is failing, and you may be one of the last to visit a Cuba under Castro.
Take some pictures for us!!

He's old, and apparently sick (http://www.miami.com/mld/miamiherald/7714718.htm).

Che smoked the cheepest cigars around. Then when his doctor told him he could only have one a day or he would die, he would make his own 1.5 foot long cigars.
