Although one of the most important things is slowly unravelling we havent debated this since ive been around neway.
Is it a good step for socialism for a european superstate?
Will it improve the situation of the workers?
What are your views?

GOOD POINTS:
there will be a larger change for right wing nations such As the Uk, as the French and Germans will pull them mopre to the left, and this will be the pattern as we move the superstate towards the east
The EU has funded the palestinians to improve their society, so this means the EU is more humane than the yankee dogs
The EU will compete AGAINST the yanks, resulting in the downfall of the superpower, and the european superstate will become the superpower, i think within the next 15-20 years.
BAD POINTS:
It is said to be a capitalist club

I'm not too sure about it, there will be some good points because it will work like a cooperative so all the workers should be paid the same amount for the same work. But I don't see countries agreeing to it, some would not like to lower the wages of the workers and others may not be able to afford it.
I think it may happen but it will take a while, they can't even arrange a currency together. The Americans will not like it at all, they were pissed off about the prospect of a Euro Army, they wanted to pass a regulation that said if you joined that then you had to leave NATO. It would be good if the Americans were toppled from the position but I do think it will happen for up to 50 or more years, may be quicker because of a trigger event.

I think it's good in the way that ther will be no real borders now with the freedom to travel and work in the EU.
But it's going to end up just another imperialist state, out to screw the people over with the false democracy they're so proud of.

A Euro army would not be good, it would have representation from all the extremes and there would be a crack down on people like us. There would be no escaping to a country with no extradition. And worst of all, no cheap alcohol in France!

Yeah but a euro army would be more responsible in its foreign policy, and there are more leftists in europe than in the uk % wise, so therefore the army would be more left wing governed

Get all the capitalist leaders under one house. One house is easier to take out than fifteen. Unite them to smash them :)

I think we re on the right way to unite all european peoples, but this EU is only a colony of the imperialistic US, what u have seen in afghanistan conflict! They all supported the aggressive policy of fuckin bush, who is goin to nuke us all by fightin the whole arabian world to get his fuckin oil!!! The war against terrorism is the real world-terror!!!
Do you want to die as a proud EURO Army soldier to support the crusade of the fuckin YANKs who try to slave the whole world???
I think the EU is a great step towards peace in europe, but it cannot fight against capitalism cause it is a capitalistic union in first way!

the Europeans only support bush because if they didnt then they would get in the shitter..
but if europe united it would be a power to rival the US, and thus would not suffer such dictation...

It is not set as a capitalist union, and as socialisteuro sed, one govt is easier to change than 15.
And like CB, sed the euro naitons bar berlu-mussolini-coni, are all trying to be chummy with usa, until the EU grows and then they can stand on their own 2 feet.

its funny that countries such as france, germany and england have to unite for strength now,, but this sort of thing can be bad, i've heard that germany will suffer for various reasons. also, whats good for, say, ireland, isn't necesarily going to be good for germany or france.
