Hi guys a little about Hi im from the greater manchester area/
Lived on council estates all my life and consider my self a socialist hence my user name.
This might not sit very well with some people but i was a very keen E.D.L supporter for nearly 2 years still believe Muslim extremist of Andy choudary should not go unchanged .
I was a regular poster on the forum but challenged any form of racism that would appear and any stigmatization of the Muslim community in general.
I had been on several protest and might some nice genuine people .
but seen and heard things away from the demo area I was very uncomfortable
with and I thought they was only a small proportion of people and thats not what the edl was about over time the dissenting voices like mine become less and less on the forum and them that stigmatized the Muslim community got more and more even thou racism on the forum was still frowned upon .
But at the demo it was becoming more and more present.
One of the turning points to me was the stoke demo I did not go on principle because of it being a B.N.P stronghold I made this known on the forum.
But anyway to cut it short after the Blackburn demo that was my turning point and from then on my attitude was more and more against the E.D.l.
please dont judge me and if anyone from admin wish to know what name I went by can p.m and i will let them know.
