So many banned members! Who even knows why? What is afoot at RevLeft?!

I figured it would be great to have a thread where people post their nagging doubts, the strange ideas that form at the back of their minds only to be dismissed as "crackpot". I'll start.

1. The CC still exists. In fact, rather than disappearing, it has become more of an intentional, closed, executive theoretico-military body, which agrees on a line.

2. Open debate is permitted only insofar as the line on a given matter has not been worked out: relatively, this is pretty broad, especially on matters that are highly particular/controversial. This is also the case when multiple understandings might exist within an issue that is part of the line (e.g. strategic or tactical questions).

3. Once the CC has agreed on the line, users who advocate contradictory positions are "sniped" off, either for difficult to verify rules violations, or simply during a period of low activity when others are not likely to notice.

4. In this way, the CC, acting as a sort of neo-Bakuninist invisible dictatorship, is gradually sculpting the board into a coherent party (not in the formal "Communist Party" sense, but as in "the party of communism").

5. Once this is achieved to a certain degree agreed upon by the CC, attempts to unite the "left" around this "invisible programme" will increasingly move from the website, and in to the IRL left-milieu and workers' movements.

The reason Revleft requires donations is that the machine which generates the time loop needs quite a bit of power, which is however supplied at generously cheap prices by the North Korean government.

The users who have been banned over the years are those who discovered the existence of the time loop and were hushed up. The apparently 'new' users who sprung up in their place are in fact 'ghost' posters, artifacts produced by the time loop to compensate for the absence of the original user base. This explains, for example, why dialectical materialism still generates controversy even though Rosa was banned aeons ago, but also why the current contributors to the debate lack Rosa's particular flair, since they are merely artifacts produced by the loop rather than the originals.
