Or the leaders of the Popular Front succumb to popular frontism. (http://www.socialistworld.net/doc/6454)
This kind of opportunism is damn near impossible for me to understand. What "national salvation" can be made in alliance with the remnants of the old regime? The same remnants the Popular Front formed to oppose, to provide an alternative between them on the one hand and Ennhada on the other. If the hope is a cushy minister seat in a "national salvation" government really worth betraying the rank and file and betraying the working class and poor? And even disregarding that I have a hard time imagining such a government could last very long anyway. Let's hope the grassroots rebel and rebel hard, because this path can only lead to political suicide. If that's where the leaders want to go, let them go alone.

The actions of the left make me sick, because this is an environment where the working class has the opportunity to organize as its own independent political force, but it's being thrown away. In both Egypt and Tunisia, they've tailed "Tamarod".
