I'm still listening to the opening track but I dig the overall project of The Weeknd. "dark" r&b that sort of tries to be anti-pop will become a thing in the near future, Lana Del Ray is already a commercial bastardization of The Weeknd's sound (not to say that he doesn't have commercial appeal).
