Eight bus drivers and a woman in Paraguay have crucified themselves in protest against being fired from their jobs. The protesters have been nailed to crosses through their hands for 22 days, and have vowed to continue their protest until they are reinstated. The bus company said it's willing to re-hire five of them, but the demonstrators want all eight reinstated. About 50 bus drivers employed by the company, which serves the capital Asuncion, have worked for years without receiving any benefits, according to Juan Villalba, one of the crucified drivers.
