The Havana Times (I can't post links yet, but the URL is havanatimes.org) is a blog I found about Cuba, and some of the writers live in Cuba. It's interesting to read, and it gives a good view of what life is actually like in Cuba, rather than the distorted imperialist view you get in the mainstream news.

I came across this site about a year ago. Havana Times is mostly counter-revolutionary rubbish - the news is aggregation. The whole theme is dedicated to undermining the revolution by bemoaning the lack of corporate internet and capitalism. It's anti-embargo stance is code for neo-liberalism. It's not edited in Cuba - it's apparently edited in Nicaragua and hosted out of Germany. Not all the bloggers are in Cuba - some won't disclose their locations. The site is written in English and appears to be translated with software into Spanish.

I would be willing to bet that it's "editor" Circles Robinson is just a pseudonym used by this pig, Rob Sequin (http://robsequin.com/), a domain broker who apparently owns every available domain with the word Cuba in it - and is waiting for the Castro's to die to cash in...just read this bizarre post (http://www.havanatimes.org/?p=3093).

It's not like there isn't a lack of capitalism in Cuba though, is there?

You're right, however, by US standards - which is where I'm speaking from - anything short of a casino is dangerously Marxist.
