So I'm Dagoth Ur, from Soviet-Empire from those who venture onto the Stalinist Hub of the Internet, I'm a pro-soviet post-Marcyite pan-Marxist. To be less cryptic that means I defend the one extant worker's nation and the historical legacy of the rulers we had rather than what we wish we'd had. What can I say? I'm a materialist. Also sectarianism is for fools.
Some more stuff, I'm a Muslim, a transgirl, and I do drugs.
I might do more than lurk from now on.

I'm a troll eh? I know I'm a weirdo and all but that's hardly fair. I can promise I'm genuine.
@red commissar: ; _ ; but I'm the one driving the Imperial Scum back into the Sea of Ghosts.

I put in 69 American dollars cause I'm mature, for them lasting 69 hours.

It's fun being accused of being a Trot by Stalinists, a fascist by Trots, an apostate by fundamentalists, and a fundamentalist by antitheists. A fun life all around.
Plus being a girl who was born a boy has been pretty shitty too.
But I still love you guys regardless.

oh, shut up. be more welcoming.
Anyway, welcome, c-rad. Hope you can get a litte bit from the discussions here; they tend to wax and wane in quality pretty sharply. At any rate, I know I've learned quite a bit.
o well this is ok I guess

I assume the joke is that even if you are not a troll you'll get banned as one anyways.

Them are the mysterious group of people who are behind every conspiracy ever. The all-seeing eye on the dollar bill, for instance, is because of Them.

And the historical legacy of the rulers we had rather than what we wish we'd had
I'm sure that's the tone the Mexica took when Cortez and his disease riddled crusaders annihilated Tenochtitlan. Or what the Arawak in the Carribean isles notioned to while they were having their hands chopped off for not bringing Columbus gold from reserves that didn't actually exist. Or what the French thought when the monarchy was restored. Or what Ukrainians thought as they starved under Stalin's pseudoscientific promotion of Lysenko's ideologically biased theses on biology, which contributed to massive agricultural failure. Or what Hungarians thought when Kruschev invaded (actually considering your line of thinking I'm assuming you'd support this one).
"Oh, looks like some destructive fuckers are in power now. We'd better remember them as great people because the groups we actually supported don't exist anymore! After all, there is always an ass to kiss - always an atrocity to be played down!"
Welcome to the forums.

Yup the Hungarian Reaction was improperly handled by Khrushchev (even though the fascists that infiltrated it demanded its eradication) but he was a product of the excesses of Stalinism so that's not really surprising. The rest doesn't equate as that was the product of conquerors. And to be honest if we were to ask Marx himself we'd likely hear him supporting the likes of Cortez.

He would be supporting the spread of capitalism, as far as I understand it, so that then communism could be ushered in. He would not support Cortez or his actions though.
