Hello, as you should have already noted I'm Flama Roja and I have just registered.

I was introduced to revleft by a former member (who is actually my brother). Just thought I'd create an introduction thread.

I've been reading some heterodox (is that how they call it?) marxism such as Paul Mattick and started to pay more attention to Rosa. I'm still developing my politics.

Well, long story short, hello to all, hope I can learn.

Welcome :)

If you have political questions, you can ask them in the Learning forum. That's why it's there after all!

If you have questions about your account, don't hesitate to send me a PM or ask here.

Where are you from and how's the left there? Also, which "former member" are you talking about?

Thank you :)

I'm never too comfortable saying where I'm from, but w/e... Brazil.

Since I live in one of the country's biggest cities you'll find anything from stalinists to anarchists. They differ on the size though. Many young people are for some reason following the ways of Stalin and his brutes (:D). On the bright (or not so bright, depends on you) they are well organised as far as young people go. None have much (if at all) influence among workers.

My brother's name was Kalinin's Facial Hair (I guess I had to write it in the registration formulaire).

Perhaps you mean orthodox? Although Paul Mattick is more of a council communist.

Welcome to RevLeft :D I'm sure you'll learn a lot here, I know I have.
