But now Ilias Kasidiaris, a leading member of Golden Dawn who gained international notoriety after he violently assaulted a woman MP live in studio, has come in for some "racial" analysis by fellow neonazis on a US-based hate site.
For the past few days, contributors to Stormfront (http://www.***************/forum/t985512/) (warning: offensive website), described on Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stormfront_%28website%29) as a white nationalist and supremacist neonazi internet forum that was the internet's first major hate site, have been debating whether Kasidiaris is "white".
Many forum members, relying on the pseudoscience that is racism, disagree that he is. This is what they had to say:
* Is he a white European?
* He has some African admixture
* He doesn't appear to have typical Greek or European features
* He looks like a typical lighter Brazilian mulatto
* He looks as though he has some negroid blood in him, I wouldn't count him as white
* He could possibly have a Gypsy or Turk in the woodpile
* He could pass for a northern African Berber and … an Egyptian Arab
* His looks are north African
* I wouldn't want somebody who looked like him marrying any of the women in my family
* He's not white, not a chance. If he's white then most of Lebanese, Syrians or other "Arabs" are white
* The guy has that funny Hugo Chavez look that people from South America have

Their definition of white is arbitrary anyway, even ignoring race mixing which destroys racial purity from the get-go. Persians and Turks are more "white" than most Russians and all Finns.

On topic - This reminds me of an argument I had with this racism-evangelist who was trying to convert me to his cult. He was going on about how 'non-europeans were genetically inferior to Europeans'. Now, 'European' not being a singular unified ethnic group in the first place, I challenged his positions one by one (I used Luca Cavalli's work for part of this debunking, of which Tim Cornelis seems to have posted a map), until his shitty arguments fell to bits.

Exhausted, the guy ended up throwing slurs at me like 'racial traitor'. I proceeded to tell him how my great-grandparents were Akan and how my other great-grandparents were Jewish. The look on the guy's face was priceless! He'd just spent a few hours trying to persuade me that 'the Africans, Arabs and Jews were up to no good'. :laugh:

Historically, for the racists, a lot of it goes back to the idea that much of what we call "Southern Europe" (Iberia, Italy south of Rome, the Balkans incl. Greece and sometimes even Hungary) were once under Muslim and Arab or Turkish rule whereas most of the rest of Europe was not.

I've always found it analogous to the "Asiatic" claims about Russia that after all emerged from Mongol rule akin to the way Greece, Spain and Portugal emerged from Islamic domination.

The best way to confuse them is by actually studying racial mysticism. I think it's much better to go with geneticists like Cavalli who completely attack the concept of human 'races' in the first place. People are too genetically similar to be considered different races, contrary to what most racists would have one believe.
