Gay teenager tortured by Russian nazis believed to be dead

Spectrum Human Rights is reporting that the gay teenage victim who was kidnapped, tortured and forced to come out on camera has died as a result of his injuries he sustained during his torture at the hands of a Neo Nazi group.
This latest shocking development was reported by human right activist, Dr. Valentin Degtyarev, MD, who closely monitors infamous Neo Nazi group “Occupy Pedofilyaj.”
The unnamed Uzbek victim was beaten, tortured, painted, and as seen in the picture above, was drenched in urine.
No arrests have been made and no charges were pressed. Putin’s law enforcement seems to fully condone these actions. Moreover, Dr. Degtyarev’s numerous written complaints to the authorities only resulted in his own persecution and threats directed at him and his 72 years old mother.
In the official correspondence from the local District Attorney office and Governor’s office it was explained that Russian authorities do not see any wrongdoings in the video clips or photographs posted by Neo Nazi group “Occupy Pedofilyaj.” Actually, the authorities referred to this group as one of the “civil movements fighting the sins of the society.” Dr. Degtyarev diligently collects every piece of evidence and correspondence and records all phone conversation with direct threats to him and his mother.
Yet, no actions from authorities have resulted so far. Dr. Degtyarev is routinely approached and offended on the street, receives numerous threats via mail, phone, SMS and email.

While I would never condone vigilantism, I would certainly throw some money in the hat to help pay for the defence of whoever would lynch these folks.

We would all love to see that but at this point it would be a mistake. Perhaps a very small group could work as long as actions are not claimed. Russia celebrates the defeat of fascism yet when antifascist are killed they get away with it and antifascist are branded hooligans. Members of that putin backed youth group, 'young russians' I think (sorry my minds gone blank just finished a 72hr week!) violently attack anti fascists and the press with impunity. Imagine what the russian state would do if LGBT activists openly started armed attacks.

Having said that what else can they do? having monarchy loving celebs like stephen fry ***** and moan wont help. Amnesty international and the like have no chance nor does international pressure from other states. waving placards and chanting slogans like a hippe outside a embassy certainly wont to a damn thing to help. I mean castro himself made a public appology for the way gay people were treated during the whole 'HIV scare' and while I dont condone it cuba was one of the few nations that had reason to fear a new unkown disease considering the chemical attacks by the US.
