Greetings to all here on Revleft. I am new to the Marxist ideas and leanings. I was formerly quit a capitalist, but have since lost the passion. I am driven to the left not by a desire to destroy money, topple the market, or eliminate structure. Instead I am on a mission to create free education, a world where everyone can be healthy, and each gets the proper reward for the labors they perform. If the entire system has to collapse so that the working man can be properly rewarded, so be it. I am very open minded, and come with empty hands. All advice, starting points, and suggestions welcome.

The main points of interest for me are how the ideas of the Vanguard party and Autonomous workers syndicates can peacefully coexist. I feel this is a crucial factor in why many states have failed. I would also like to learn more about Bakunin, and how his collectivist theories differ from communism. Also, how could a meritocratic system coexist with socialism.

All very interesting things that are worth the time it takes to study them.
Around here, we generally use "communism" as an umbrella term that can cover anything from anarchism to Stalinism.
