Moderators, please move this to the appropriate forum if necessary.
I don't know how often this topic is mentioned here, but I will give it a shot because it is on my mind. I want to know your thoughts on how "professionalism" will evolve, specifically for the economic privileged, in the United States/first world countries in the next 30 plus years. Of course, the above is under the condition, partially at least, that the United States still exists (in the way we know it today, or not)... as well as the system which society lives under. I want to touch upon all elements of what is known as professionalism: external appearance, behavior/attitude, accountability, integrity, and competence in formal settings. I missed some key elements, so please feel free to add on to the list and discuss them appropriately. It is possible that professionalism will not change much in the next 30 plus years, or it might mean something completely new to what we know today. I understand that due to none of us being psychics, we can only go off of presumptions or hypotheses.
On a side note, I regret using the word "evolve" as I did above as it may entail arguments on how I started this thread... since I wanted to start from having no opinion in order to contemplate everyone's thoughts and opinions firsthand.
