no.
the world in 2033. will be. a corporate. hellhole. more unemployment. environmental anal rape. poverty. failed states. mega-corporations. drone. happy pills. illuminati.
besides. the elite already dismantled the soviet union. it had survived it's usability. baron rothschild. pressed the delete button.
the world in 2033 will be pure cyberpunk. in 2053, the world will be mega-cyberpunk, and the rich elite will be immortals who openly piss on the masses.

Due to the unemployment caused by accelerating automation most developed nations have adopted a basic income scheme. Meanwhile the United States is embroiled in its second civil war, triggered by the Pacific Northwest region calling itself 'Cascadia' seceding from the union. China has opened massive refugee camps on the Mexican border.
The 'perestroika generation', the last generation to spend its entire childhood in the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe is now 60. Enver Hoxha has been dead for 48 years.

As this is meant to be the Theory forum, a verbal warning to Delenda Carthargo for just posting a pointless picture.

so? the rothschilds are not capitalists? are they not a part of the london/babylon banker elite?
we are moving towards cyberpunk steadily. basic income won't be introduced. the future is dead now, little friend.

2) I am starting a pool guessing how long before LovingEmbrace is banned. Any takers?

Goodness, I hope we have our second civil war before then. The first was only 4 years. I really don't want to be in 50's when it happens.
You think Washington & Oregon are going to kick it off? We know if Texas wanted to leave there would be a fight (Tea Party/Libs v Government) but I'm not sure about Pacific NW.

I am using the former Yugoslavia as a template, with 'Cascadia' taking the role of Slovenia. If you remember the secession of Slovenia was relatively peaceful. What followed ... not so much.
Every time the White House swings Republican there is talk here of secession. So far that is all it is, talk. If there is further economic deterioration that may might push secession along. Cascadia is a net federal tax payer -- unlike most of the "Red" states.

What I was really getting at us that the US isn't really going to give a major frak over the NW. I wish they would just give Michigan to Canada. Not like that is some improvement.
My comment about Texas is that for the banks & government it is a very important state. They don't hold Oregon or Washington in such esteem.
Slovenia I remember very much; smooth & then death. Lots & lots of death.

Hmm who made the plane that you last flew in? If your computer is not an Apple what operating system does it use? Cascadia has a positive trade balance, unlike the surrounding country to its east and south.

Unsure about the plane. United? Maybe American Airlines?
Computer is the fruit.
Cascading, even though non-existent, seems to have a good, balanced economy

A picture of what the world is going to be like gets a verbal warning.
'I'm in charge, and in my revolution there will be no fucking pictures!!'
I liked that picture. Describes what the person thinks the world will be like in 2033. It wasn't a troll picture or a picture to get off topic.. let's put down your power trip for a second and join the discussion.
In 2033 I hope art is excepted as a form of expression. Not grounds for discplinary actions.

What? The US would go to war against any state that seriously tried to leave the union, it doesn't matter how insignificant that particular state may be. You join, you don't get to leave.
