I am a Danish communist, currently living in England. I've been lurking around for a while and finally decided to join.
I've been a communist for a few years now, but I don't adhere to any specific tendency. I am a "partyist" marxist, but not a trotskyist or an m-l. I'm for a new communist party unaffiliated with 20th century historical figures.
Also I'm a big lil b fan

hi comrade.
Prepare for hoxhaism
Welcome :)
If you have political questions, you can ask them in the Learning forum. That's why it's there after all!
If you have questions about your account, don't hesitate to send me a PM or ask here.
So, you are a partyist. This is a somewhat specific phrase that I don't hear often. Do you happen to be familiar with the CPGB/Weekly Worker group?

Hi thanks. I know who they are, but not much about their politics. Didn't know there is a more specific meaning behind the "partyist" phrase tbh (thought vanguardist might give the wrong impression though).

Welcome to the site comrade.

They have a helpful FAQ about them (http://cpgb.org.uk/home/about-the-cpgb). I thought also that you might find them interesting because you call for a new communist party not adhering to the 20th century. I take that as not being organised around sectarian ideas, but around a communist programme. This in a nutshell sums up what the CPGB are about.
But maybe I'm wrong and you hate their guts. There doesn't seem to be much of a middle ground about it :p

Welcome if anti-vanguard parties is your thing, the WSM/SPGB are one. Also they eschew the Bolshevik figures dominating the 20th Century. The 19th Century produced much more impressive figures anyway, Marx, Engels, William Morris, Daniel De Leon, Wilhelm Liebknecht, August Bebel etc.
