Huh, interesting concept. Never really thought something like these books could work in a game.
Do you happen to know the developers at all? I know Bristol is a big place, but still.

I hope so. If you go on the game's website, you'll see a picture of me.

Here's a list of screenshots. The site's getting an overhaul after dinner, along with an interview with the Anti-Capitalist Initiative.

Oddly enough, alot of Burroughs's later books read quite a bit like really hallucinogenic science fiction, so the idea of a video game isn't too far off the mark.
I think, were he still alive, he'd probably dive head first into the project himself. The guy was an artist at heart and would experiment with any medium that struck his fancy (including comics, as he wrote an early graphic novel). I think the medium of video games would have been right up his alley.

Cool. It was kind of wild rereading Naked Lunch after 9/11. Wild spaces and CONTROL.
My favourite writer is Jane Bowles...

I love William S Bourroughs, he's one of the big 3 for me (the other two being Hemmingway and Thompson) and alot of his books in the cut-up portion of his career could easily be good material for a sort of kafkaesque video game. I'm not really into playing video games all that much, especially not on the computer, but this game sounds interesting and I wish you luck.
