I'm a 34 year old Hispanic male hailing from the not-so Garden State of NJ. I work primarily as a graphic artist at a local paper (I make them pretty little ads that prop up the newspaper industry), but I also work part-time as a landscaper (cliche I know) and various manual labor jobs.

I have an intense, pantheistic love for Nature. I'd rather be hiking in the woods than plopping my ass on the couch to watch the newest opiate of the masses on TV (hey we have a new show title for the same old nonsense!).

At times I can be optimistic and humanistic and then other times an asshole pessimist with a misanthropic slant. Probably due to frustrations with humanity. Otherwise, I'm friendly and too forgiving towards people in general...well as long as you aren't some goose-stepping Nazi numbskull.

I'm a sci-fi geek and prefer sci-fi over any other movie genre, though some of the stupid comedies I do enjoy like Supertroopers, Strange Wilderness and such.

NJ used to be a nice place with the rural landscape, but now its a built up pisshole with cookie cutter developments that used to be farmland/woodlands. So, there isn't much to remember!

Also, what are your political ideas, if anything specific.

Any and all scifi, even the campy 1950's stuff, but my favorites have to be War of the Worlds (both the 1953 and 2005 movie versions and the the late 80s series first season).

My political ideals are socialist, but I'm not lodged onto any one branch (Marxist-Leninism, Trotskyism, Maoism, Stalinism...etc.). I feel that many of the branches have their good points.
