http://www.wnd.com/2013/07/obama-deploying-drones-around-u-s/Oh wow, WND.. And I felt bad for posting an article from the daily mail!
I really wouldn't take this seriously (not that it would be a surprising move from the Big O) until it gets at least corroborated a bit from reliable news sources, like Fox News or Pravda.

World Net Daily really is a pretty terrible source, but I wouldn't be surprised if NOAA were to start using unmanned drones for regulatory stuff.
Or so Obama will have an easier time taking away our guns before herding us into FEMA death camps. Either or.

If cable news doesn't talk about it, it can't be true!

I read somewhere that rightwing militia types were offering rewards for anyone who shoots them down. Surely the announcement was a propaganda stunt. Who is seriously going to risk collecting such a reward or offering one.

Can we please refrain from posting stuff from blantantly trashy right wing sources like WND

Cornel West, a member of the reformist "Democratic Socialists of America", after hearing Obama's speech on race said that Obama's drone policy makes us "the George Zimmerman of the world".

It is know that in the Netherlands a form of drones have been used 81 times in 2012, 14 times of which it were army drones. So I have no hard time believing drones are used in the US. However one must think about what kind of drones. The drones in Pakistan are just ine type of drones, which is what we associate the term with, maybe the usage of the word drone is a bit sensationalistic.

I'd say that drones are a cause for concern even if they're only doing surveillance. Aside from privacy issues there's the possibility of them being the thin end of the wedge.
