What is your view on this show?
Is it more than just teen drama - with social and racial implications? For instance, patriarchy - all the men compete with one another to protect the central character. Race relations - most witches are black, and they end up protecting the vampires (who are invariably white), almost as if their only reason for existence is to protect the vampires - kind of like a master-slave relationship.
