50% of the dialogue in this show....
"CAAAARRRRLLLLLL"
"WHERE'S CCCAAARRRRLLLL"
"HAVE YOU SEEN CCCAAARRLLL"
Nevertheless this show is entertaining. And I'm looking forward to a fourth season.

I hope they slowly start replacing the whole cast with the cast of the wire... they're moving in that direction already based on this triler.
I enjoy the show... I also enjoy complaining about it's shortcomings.
Really I want to see a urban version of this show - and I don't mean "black" euphamistically. Most people who live in cities would be pretty set as far as initial defense against zombies because there are bars on most windows in appartments. The bigger danger would be getting supplies and sustaining yourself in a zombie siege.
Judging from the trailer, they changed the location of the scene, but I'm completely stoked to see that they included Tyreeses scene where he just goes completely badass on a large amount of walkers at once. I've been waiting all this time for Tyreese, I loved him in the comics.

with slow zombies you're okay in the city, you could barricade portions of the city etc.. but you have to worry about their numbers since its a city, it would be harder to barricade out in the country and in smaller towns and easier for massive numbers of them to creep up especially at night and the outcome would be grim even during the day and even with a watch- fast zombies would just suck. I saw a couple comments around the net about season 4 introducing another type of zombie. and I hope it is a fast zombie /nerd
I also really like the ambient east coast mid-coast/south feel with the changing of the seasons, the way the wind sounds in the leaves and the late summer crickets and cicadas. It's a big part of the show for me cause I grew up in the south, moved up north and haven't been back for some time. It's like watching what happened to home.

Yeah I've never actually been to that area, but it's a really nice part of the show.
Speaking of locations, I also glad they stayed at the prison - it seems like there is so much more they could do with that location (and might do according to the trailer). I wish that they hadn't killed the inmates so quickly, it seems like a missed opportunity in a show that often deals with people trying to deal with reconciling their past and the present.
