I don't like posting intros. It seems weird. Most people don't walk up to a bunch of strangers and start listing facts about themselves. At least I don't.[1] But the intro PM said to post one, so here's mine.
I'm a dude. I'm also old (I remember the '70s, kinda), which is why I still think "dude" means male. But I'm a young old (immature), so I'm still cool (not really).
I'm what Wikipedia calls "non-Hispanic white."
Mostly hetero. I say "mostly" because I heard we're all bi, and it made sense to me. (I'd rather say "practicing hetero," but that would be a lie.)
Born in the USA. In a small town.
I'm basically a walking cliche.
Anyway, from the sticky:
- Where are you from, whats the leftist scene there like?
There is none, as far as I can tell. I don't know anyone to the left of the Democratic Party (this may be related to [1], above).
- What are your political ideas, if any?
Once upon a time, there were a bunch of cavemen sitting around a fire. One of them (call him Zod) announced that he was now boss, since he was big and strong and stuff. Fast forward a few hundred millennia, skipping past several moderations on the theme, and Zod's position has now been inherited by the asshole owner of the shithole where you spend most of your waking hours. Time to reverse the clock. But let's keep all the useful stuff they made us build. Caves are dank.
- How did you become a leftist?
Seems to me we're all born that way, basically. Even little kids understand unfairness when they see it. Until Zod's yes-men brainwash them. Some find their way back as adults.
OK, that's enough. Nice place you've got here. Maybe a bit too gray.
