. . . and tonight it's finally cool. You know what though? I'm an idiot and pounded two energy drinks at a punk show because part of my sober-alcoholic coping is always having something to drink in my hand. I was smart enough that I didn't initially bring energy drinks, but the drink I did bring wasn't something I tried before: some sort of sprouted barley weirdness that was like drinking moldy coconut jello. I went to the dep (convenience store) and it seemed like such a reasonable thing (dancing fuel!).

On the bright side seeing The System ruled. They are basically the closest thing in punk to a jam band. I groove-moshed more than I have in ages.

(I tagged this "Caffentzis" because "caffeine" isn't an available tag, and Autonomy are also a peace-punk band)

heat wave finally broke here, it is actually cool outside thank god

we had pretty bad weather a few weeks ago

like seriously paralysing heat, days i just laid outside in a coma and nights were impossible to cope with

now its gray and kinda warm so i guess i should be happy about this instead
