If you thought the commercial for communism was bad, watch this bizarre Turkish commercial.

besides that so many things contrary to what's said in this video have been carried out under the banner of Islam (no force, no coercion, no killing, etc. — if that's Islam, it has yet to be founded), I like how they talk in front of pictures showing non-Islamic, Christian-dominated cities. Oh yeah, and the bizarre make up. At least it's against Leninism huh.

The 'struggle against perverse ideologies' and the 'respect for all beliefs' clearly goes hand in hand.

"Islam encourages modernity... and the struggle against perverse ideologies such as Darwinism."
Islam: the language of smiles and hypocrisy.

That was made by Harun Yahya (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adnan_Oktar), an Islamic creationist superstar (the muslim equivalent of Ray Comfort or Kent Hovind); he's also an anti semitic nut, who thinks the theory of evolution is a Jewish-Masonic conspiracy to destroy society.
If I didn't know though, I'd swear the Saudis had something to do with it - ultra-capitalist Islam is their thing after all.

Harun Yahya is a weird character. A conservative islamic creationist, he has his shows hosted by people who look more suited for an episode of the Bachelor Pad rather than a TV show about Harun's personal Islamic cult.

The only commercials I've seen In the US were after 9/11 when there were billboards and commercials by Islamic groups trying to convince people in the US that muslems were normal people and to not blame and/or lynch them basically.

Rather than go for the arguments in the video like it or not your are passing judgement on a women based on your perception of her appearance. I don't hear many men being referred to as 'catfish' either.

Sam do you really think that any serious person would spend time going for those arguments? They're self defeating, preposterous.

We don't need, or want islamists to tolerate us radicals. If we attain power they will be liquidated.

Btw, is that video a parody? It's just the whole "Islam encourages science" and then opposes 'darwinism' just seems a bit contradictory.

Because users here need to recognize that Islamism is just as much a threat to proletarian consciousness as libertarianism in the U.S. and growing anti-immigrant sentiment in Europe.

Any reasonable person should be speaking out against Islamism and other forms of religious extremism. I don't see Rafiq's out-spoken views about it as a bad thing.

Never called it a bad thing.
I'm just saying Rafiq is noticeably outspoken ever since I joined the forum. Very admirable
