Hellos from the 2nd worse state in America TX. I sadly live here now but oh well. I live with a bunch of right wing hillbillies who think Obama is from Kenya and Zimmerman was justified in what he did. So to keep myself sane I use the internet to have intelligent conversations about politics that dont want to make me punch people in the back of the brain.

Welcome :)

If you have political questions, you can ask them in the Learning forum. That's why it's there after all!

If you have questions about your account, don't hesitate to send me a PM or ask here.

What are your political ideas, if any? Also, is there any left scene at all in Texas?

Austin is pretty liberal but not in a socialist way or anything. More on the human rights/freedom front. For the most part TX is the home of bush and Reagan is a saint. There are pockets of some form of revolutionaries but most are to distracted by bars and a million other things I feel are put here for that exact reason.
As far my political ideas I walk the line of socialists but there are something's im not 100% about. I admit that im not as educated as some on the subject but not ignorant either. One of the reason I joined this site you can never know to much. I am absolutely for working class rights. I hate racism, sexism, homophobia and things of that nature.
I believe there are good and bad with most political/economic systems and I dont truely believe any one is a 100% right, but that's why I'm here to learn and educate myself as much as i can. Lately my views have been truely leaning more on class division something I've always known about but have been really looking into the hows and why's and more how to fix the divide between haves and have nots.

Right now Florida is running away with the title of worse state. Close second Texas.
as far as being libertarian socialist. I never really aligned myself that way. I am very against wage labor. It is a shackle and a way to control people plain and simple. I am very pro-worker rights. In my heart I would say I would love for there to he no authority but in my brain it says that wouldn't work in America and most places today...sadly.
If im not mistaken(and I might he please correct me if im wrong) they also believe in direct democracy which I would support.
I saw in another thread where someone asked I about one party systems. In my head I feel that a one party system is wrong. Ideally we wouldn't have any parties but in a representive democracy we have parties. Which is a failed system.
The only way a one party system would work to me is if their only concern was the people and bettering their lives and that's all people.
Like I said I walk the line of a socialist but im not a 100% that it's 100%right/doable in the modern world.
