There are many people on this site who have a good knowledge of some areas and rather than just debating with other leftists you should put that to more general use. Of course since synonyms are in use people may already be doing this, but if they are not, then can I make a plea to comrades on this site to devote part of their time to writing and publishing in depth critiques of prominent bourgeois economists and ideologues.
Rather than just put your effort into debating with other left wing people, put a large part of your intellectual effort into refuting leading contemporary ideologues of the propertied classes.
Write critiques and get them published in a variety of sources. If you write them in slightly more neutral language you can hope to get them published in certain journals that are quasi establishment and which are thus seen as slightly more authoratative in the literature. Failing that get them published in explicitly Marxist journals.

Just post or comment at http://www.reddit.com/r/economics/

Be warned it's full of pro-capitalist "libertarians" who mistake ideology for science ;)
