he probally means china and india, therefore "will this be the centuy of china/india". as for the topic, dont care what century it is, american, chinese or whatever. it will be a capitalst century anyway.

Yeah, capitalism is capitalism, who cares what this or that country is doing, who cares which countries are developing and how. No need to think about it, much less discuss it. Right?

The Asian Century is the projected 21st-century dominance of Asian politics and culture. The belief in a future Asian Century parallels the characterization of the 20th-century as the American Century ...I don't know, describing the 20th-century as "the American Century" seems a very superficial/reductive analysis.
Did the people who theorised this thing read the news from, well, before the last twenty years?

America completely dominated the 20th century. Politically, economically, militarily, culturally etc.
