Machete-wielding man makes off with pizza, pepperoni in Southeast Portland market heist
Portland Police are searching for a man who allegedly threatened a Southeast Portland market employee with a machete before fleeing without paying for his snacks.
According to police, the man entered B&C Foods at 12918 Southeast Foster Road and picked up a frozen pizza, candy and some pepperoni sticks around 10:33 a.m. Saturday morning. He then threatened the market's employee with a machete and left without paying. The man was last seen heading north on SE 128th Avenue from Foster Road. He is described as in his early 20s, about 5 feet, 7 inches tall with a thin build, light-colored hair and a goatee. He was wearing all black clothing and a baseball cap and was carrying a machete in his pants.
Officers checked the neighborhood for the suspect but did not locate anyone matching his description.
