i am from northeastern Ohio.
I found my way into leftist politics via the Bible and my politics are heavily inspired by my faith, Roman Catholicism.
I always was a bit of a socialist, and it was expanded upon when my uncle explained anarchy to me, and I felt it get reaffirmed in Sunday School.
Later, a teacher had me read Animal Farm, and later I read Marx, Trotsky, and Kropotkin; in the fifth grade.
So I am a little bit of everything politically, except I am weary about marxist-leninism. Everyone is my comrade (who is anywhere on the left) except those who hero worship Stalin and Mao; and militant in your face about it atheists. I am a mix of a Marxist, Jacobin, Anarchist, and Chavista, but like I said, I found my path to Socialism through the Bible.
