i am from northeastern Ohio.
I found my way into leftist politics via the Bible and my politics are heavily inspired by my faith, Roman Catholicism.
I always was a bit of a socialist, and it was expanded upon when my uncle explained anarchy to me, and I felt it get reaffirmed in Sunday School.
Later, a teacher had me read Animal Farm, and later I read Marx, Trotsky, and Kropotkin; in the fifth grade.
So I am a little bit of everything politically, except I am weary about marxist-leninism. Everyone is my comrade (who is anywhere on the left) except those who hero worship Stalin and Mao; and militant in your face about it atheists. I am a mix of a Marxist, Jacobin, Anarchist, and Chavista, but like I said, I found my path to Socialism through the Bible.

Welcome :)

If you have political questions, you can ask them in the Learning forum. That's why it's there after all!

If you have questions about your account, don't hesitate to send me a PM or ask here.

Mind that we have a rule against preaching. Also, are you into liberation theology?

Welcome. Sounds like you really thought this through and don't worry people here don't worship Mao (I haven't seen any) and for Stalin its really more of Him doing what Lenin would have done only a lot more brutal.

Yeah don't worry I don't preach. That's a real good way to get people to hate you.
And yeah, real into Liberation Theology.
