Disregarding the good king, the article is typical reactionary pining because People No Longer Use Their Brain and they are Spending Their Lives Without Purpose. How is it relevant to left-wing politics, unless you buy the notion that people had more "autonomy" before the evils of technology (and increased lifespan and bourgeois democratic rights and...)?
