The Sticky's provide alot of good info.

I suggest books by Bakunin, Kropotkin, Proudhon as good places to start.

I also think its a good idea to read opposing philosophies such as Mein Kampf. Just my personal opinion that it is important to understand the enemy's thought process to stay ahead of them.

Read and study Marx's Das Kapital. Don't do anything else until you've mastered it and know it like the back of your hand.

Then start learning Russian as you'll need to read the works of important authors in Russian as the translations are of poor quality. If you want to understand Marxism, you need to understand Lenin, you need to understand the Russian Revolution, you need to understand the Trotsky-Stalin struggle, and to understand this you need to know the Russian language.

I put up a list a while back (http://www.revleft.com/vb/blog.php?b=7728). Hopefully it'll be useful in some way.

Look man, from my experience it's better to find some "beginner's" book on Marxism with most important quotes from Marx/Engels/Lenin and some explanations in order to understand most important thoughts of Marxism. I don't know from which contry are you, if you're from ex-socialist country, it will be easier for you to get good material. Kapital is great, but for me it was hard to read it until I got some pre-knowledge in Marxism.
