I am a cake anti-revisionist. Ice cream cakes and the like are ultra-left and betray a petty-bourgeois mentality.

Once, I made cake while high on LSD and it sat on the stove for three weeks because it had the consistency of a sponge.
Once, I made a vegan chocolate birthday cake while high on mushrooms and it turned out perfectly.
Once I made chocolate pancakes using orange juice instead of water, and resolved to do it again.

Erm, I dunno? You'd get some bread/cake hybrid? I'm not sure it works like that anyway. I don't think you can just add yeast to cake mix.

I'm sure you could just toss some extra sugar and cocoa powder in the bread machine with normal bread ingredients and get a chocolatey loaf (surprised I haven't tried this yet tbh) but I imagine the texture would be bread-like, probably more doughnut-y than cake-y. Cakes also have a much higher fat content than bread (although I once made fat-free muffins by accident and they were actually not that bad).
