Maoist prisoners in Morocco went on 48 hour hunger strike in solidarity with Turkish popular movement
Red salute to Maoists who struggle under difficult conditions in Morocco, Tunisia and Turkey.
We political prisoners (Aziz Group Elbour) - decided to start a hunger strike of 48 hours from 14 June to 15 June 2013, in solidarity with the struggle of the Turkish people.

As political prisoners, they are using the only instrument available to them, their own bodies, to show their solidarity.
It's called proletarian internationalism. Each battle is part of the international struggle of the working class.

how can damaging their own bodies in prison help the people of Turkey?
proletarian internationalism is not about doing stupid things. they have some means of true struggle in prison. they can write revolutionary and enlightening leaflets and articles in prison to help people of Turkey and Morocco in order to identify their friends and enemies.
such illogical ways which they have chosen, cannot help anyone in anyway.
