I saw someone mentioning them in another thread. I just love this band. They were a thousand times better than the chili peppers. They also were far less "generic." Epic alone has at least 4 totally different styles in it, blended together perfectly. And of course, Patton is one of the most versatile gifted vocalists of our time, this is undeniable.

Some highlights
Epic
From out of nowhere
RV
Smaller and Smaller
Be Aggressive

Anymore highlights from any FNM fans?

I'd like to hear some input too so that maybe I can give 'em a try.

It's not too hard to be better than the Chilli Peppers, though.
And if they're similar, I might not like them either.
But we'll see.
Thanks for the recomendation. :)

They can only be compared to the chili peppers because in Epic, Patton does a sort of mock rap and in the video, he mimics Anthony Kiedis in the Give it Away video.

They are, for the most part, totally different. Patton is ten times better as a vocalist. Jim Martin is a great guitarist. The bassist (who's name escapes me) is incredible, as is the keyboardist and drummer.

Faith no more is a one of a kind band. I doubt anyone else could manage to get away with putting cheerleaders in the chorus of any song as they do of "be aggressive."
