This kind of stuff is a double edged sword. If we talk about it, then the powers that be get us talking and spending time on the web. At the same time, this kind of bullshit must be attacked and destroyed.

This article from a recent Time magazine portends to be some sort of expose on Gen-Y and the ridiculous narrative that they are lazy, selfish and want everything for free. As far as I'm concerned, this couldn't be further from the truth. It's disinfotainment at it's best.

A couple of initial thoughts. I thought Gen-X were the lazy slackers and the boomers were the ME generation. I'm confused. This need to quantify and brand even a generation of humans is sickening. Also, I think the Gen-Y folks have done quite well explaining their situation via the occupy movement. This is their true face and seems to be ignored in 'news' like this.
