I'm not quite sure about what this is and the wikipedia page was not helpful. It seems like anarchism that is especially opposed to patriarchy, but i would think that all decent anarchists are feminists or feminist supporters, since anarchists generally are against hierarchy, authority, and inequality.
I guess my question is, how is anarcha-feminism different from any other strand of anarchist thought?

anarcha-feminism isn't necessarily different to any type of anarchism if by different you mean opposed to (unless you count manarchists as a tendency lol). You can combine anarcha-feminism with anarcho-syndicalism, anarcho-communism, anarcho-collectivism, etc. and it's not contradictory. Anarcha-feminism just places at it's forefront women's rights and feels that patriarchy is related to state institutions and can only be abolished by the abolishing of the state.
(Disclaimer: Before any people come in like they usually do with "we're Marxists so we define a state as a necessary organ of class rule that can't just be abolished" just keep in mind that anarchists often define states differently than Marxists and that I'm trying to define things, not get involved in an argument)

All anarchists should be feminists because obviously liberation from patriarchy is part of liberation for humans as a whole. However, in practice, a lot of male anarchists are not particularly interested in feminist issues and I have to say that there is a lot of sexism in the anarchist movement still which I don't think is adequately challenged.
I changed my tendency to anarcha-feminist on this forum after a particularly bad bunch of sexist threads. I think identifying as an anarcha-feminist draws attention to the fact that feminism is sadly still very necessary, even within the anarchist movement.
Also, I guess if you're active in the feminist movement, being an anarcha-feminist is very different from being a liberal feminist. Anarcha-feminism is feminism with a class analysis.
I'm hungover, sorry for the crap response.

Liberation of workers is not necessarily liberation for women. An-Fem just takes the class analysis and adds another layer. Same with Anarcho-Queers.
