For those whom may be interested, a comrade from Collective Action did a beginners' presentation/talk on the history of anarchist communism, using the lives of Bakunin and Makhno to contextualise the history, and then briefly about contemporary anarchist communism. It was recorded at the Sheffield Anarchist Book Fair.

If you wish to listen to it, you can do so. There is also the prezzi file and the notes if you want to follow the talk with them. It's about forty minutes long and also includes the questions and answers after the talk.

Mikhail Bakunin wasn't an anarcho-communist. He was creator of anarcho-collectivism. It was ideology of transition phase between capitalism and communism.

I haven't claimed he was an anarchist communist. But that's really quite irrelevant, since the talk is about the history of anarchist communism and Bakunin obviously played a key role in that. You should probably listen to the talk.
