its a cool dive bar in friedrichshain where a lot of the squatters in that neighborhood work/hang out. really cheap beers. some days they also do voku (peoples kitchen) which is a super delicious, really cheap meal.

sure thing! there are some cool clothing, graffiti and english book stores in the area too if i recall correctly. its really easy to get to on the u-bahn and karl marx allee is right there too :cool:

im yet to actually ever visit berlin which is hell of a shame

next time i have enough money and time off to go traveling (which will almost inevitably be next year, i have horrible holidays) i'm definately looking at that direction of europe, basically battling between prague and berlin

Berlin definitely. Prague is okay, but it's no where near as exciting as Berlin.

Make sure to come in the summer though.
