So with the recent merger of many Irish Republican forces in Northern Ireland (RAAD, Real IRA, etc.) do you think we will ever see the Contos come in and complete the package?
When will these groups realize they have to work together to accomplish anything....

Each group claims orthodoxy, but there is always a chance that they will unite...

Dont see why we would want them to come together they are all pretty much capitalist with slight left wing leanings if any The only group that ever had socialism in mind was the INLA and maybe the OIRA to my knowledge.

Not all of them a gangsters. Id say only a really really small percentage would be corrupt. There are corrupt people in every part of society so its not a surprise if some of the corrupt in society try to infiltrate these groups to benefit for their own selfish goals. This is the society in which we live. Look at the free state parlement. It has some of the most corrupt people in the state in it. And all through its history has been the same.
Gangsters join these groups for their own benefit and in lots of cases its the cops that get these gangsters to join these groups so they can get the groups ran into the ground.

I think all the groups should work together in one big party. But I also think it would be a major disaster if all the underground groups joined together to work together. I think if they did a small number of agents or counter-revolutionarys would get themselfs into high positions and run it down, just like what Adams and his gang done in the Provo's. Or it would end in a massive fued.
I dont think any of the groups would want to work with the contos. There is about six groups through out Ireland calling themselfs the contos.
The Contos, The Real Contos, The Super Real Contos, The Really Super Real Contos and i cant beleave its the Contos.

I am a supporter of Irish national liberation.
I am a supporter of a 32 County Socialist Republic.
And I support any individual or groups that are trying to acheve these goals.
Are you a Republican?

They very seldom ever talk about socialism but in some of their statements like easter statements they nearly always say that they want a 32 county socialist republic. If they actualy do is another story.

And you have read RNUs "revolutionary republicanism"? http://www.republicanunity.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/Core-Principles-of-Revolutionary-Republicanism..pdf
Funny how some so called "socialists" pick up on right wing media and happily brand real revolutionaries "gangsters". Sickening.

Yeah I have read RNUs "revolutionary republicanism". I think it is a great bit of writing. When I put up the last post I had the 32s and the RSF in mind. RNU, Eirigi and IRSP are all 100% for a 32 county socialist republic.

Hey Blake, Please keep the title as it is or "oglaigh na heireann unities" or "IRA Unity"
It's not really about the Contos. It's more a topic on unity between different movements claiming a shared history/tradition and the possible movement towards reconciliation/coordinated efforts.
And yah I am a supporter of a revolutionary socialist group in Ireland. I think our struggle actually is a way bigger issue than many in the left realize. With the irish situation there is a chance for it to play on a much bigger stage than simply versus british imperialism.
Something this forum should be really keen on. So hopefully others will educate themselves and see how a popular movement like this in the "White" area of europe could create a popular trend for the rest of north america/white europe that is at this time the power base of world politics/economies.
*Haha I wanted to use a different word rather than white, I hope what I was meaning to get across gets across*
