Frontline: The Untouchables

Frontline did a great documentary on why no banker has been charged for causing the great recession.

It is an hour long.

Basically:
- US government (Mainly the Obama Administration) has not real interest in prostituting them.
- DOJ believe that the banks did nothing illegal.
- Not many whistle-blowers are willing to speak out.


Now there has been some retaliation against one of the whitle-blowers in the documentary.

Why would they persucute the bankers? Bankers are agents of capital, and recessions allow the bourgeoisie to monopolise from the privatisation that occurs and the small business failing (i.e. recessions decrease the numbers of the petit bourgeoisie).
