Hello

So, the point of this post is obvious enough. I would, if asked to define my politics with but a few words, would say, revolutionary democratic socialist. I am a citizen of the UK and an affiliate of the Socialist Party of England and Wales. I am here because this is a place where I believe I'll find like-minded people and have the ability to discuss current events and political theory with those people.

I hope I am correct and will therefore have many enjoyable and interesting discussions with you all here.

Welcome, comrade:)

What exactly is a "revolutionary democratic socialist"..? I always thought "democratic socialism" implied achieving socialism through a liberal democracy, and not revolution.

By revolutionary, I mean I wish for a radical and fundamental change to society with the aim of creating a fully socialist system. This is in constrast to reformism, as I see it, which aims to slowly alter the system with the hope that it will one day become socialist, or at least better than what we have currently.

Hey! Nice to meet you.
I'm wondering the same thing as a wild magikarp.

Nice to meet you too.

As for your queries, I have hopefully answered them in my last post. Being this new does introduce a complication that make conversations difficult. Of course, if you have additional queries, I am happy to answer them.
